Princeton Dormer Addition Update

In our last post on A&E's Princeton Dormer Addition, we discussed our initial progress with completing the roofing installation as well as installing windows and weather sealing the house.
Princeton Home Addition
We've been able to check off quite a bit on our To Do List for this project as we have installed new Hardie lap siding and began work on the interior floor plan and the bathroom.
Front Portico Design

A&E Construction's Princeton dormer addition involved building a front portico to the front of the house.  This front portico was built with fiberglass columns and an arched bead board ceiling.

This Princeton home's portico compliments the existing home design with a decorative, finished look to the entryway, while also providing coverage from rain at the front door.

The installation of Hardie lap siding on the dormer addition gave the house a complete face-lift on its original all brick exterior.

Andersen windows
A&E also installed new Andersen windows on the second floor addition.  Inside the house, we constructed a niche below the window, creating a unique window accent.

On the interior of the house, we spackled drywall on the walls and ceiling and will begin painting within the week.

Since completing electrical and rough plumbing work, A&E's employees have started tiling the shower and bath area.
