A&E Among 10 Winners of the 2012 New Good Neighbor Awards!

We are excited to announce that A&E Construction is one of the ten winners of this year's New Jersey Business & Industry's New Good Neighbor Awards. The New Good Neighbor Awards is an annual contest that recognizes the best commercial and industrial development projects in New Jersey.  Winners are chosen based on a combination of three things: economic benefit and job creation, architectural merit, and community involvement.  

A&E Construction was nominated by the Princeton Chamber of Commerce for its commercial renovation of Zydus Pharmaceuticals American Headquarters.  Zydus Pharmaceuticals is a leading international manufacturer and developer of generic pharmaceuticals located right here in Pennington. 

The Zydus renovation was also selected by the National Association of Remodeler Industry (NARI) as one of the top four commercial remodeling projects completed throughout the country in 2011 and earned A&E Construction “Contractor of the Year” for Commercial Interior Renovation in the Northeast region. 

The renovation of the Zydus Pharmaceutical headquarters involved a complete remodeling of the existing site into an upscale, professional office building. To replace the outdated office layout, A&E installed inlaid marble tile and exquisite cherry wood finishes throughout the building.  

This project was completed in just 14 weeks, giving employees at Zydus a head start on moving into the new building and giving Zydus the ability to put their rental space on the market ahead of time.
