A&E's Award Winning Remodelings in House&Home Magazine

We're proud to announce that A&E Construction is among the winners of the 2011 Central Jersey Contractor of the Year (CotY) Award.  Recognized for our excellence in the design in House&Home magazine for our commercial interior design and our residential kitchen remodeling, we'd like to share the story of our two remodeling projects with you.
After: Updated Entranceway
A&E's Commercial Interior:

We transformed 12,000 square feet of office space for its new owners, an internationally based corporation.  A&E's commercial renovation included new layouts for several new offices and conference rooms, the addition of two new bathrooms & two new shower areas within the existing building footprint, total renovation of the existing kitchen & two bathroom areas, along with a major facelift that encompassed the remaining building’s interior.
Before: Main Hallway
After: Lobby Waiting Area

Although the original building complex was a poorly maintained building that required a major gut and removal project, we preserved the upper glass transom panels and the existing aluminum office doors and re-utilized 75% of the original ceiling grid.

After: Updated Office
A&E’s design team created a detail oriented design plan featuring a stunning main entryway with dark cherry wood wainscoting, handsome custom built doors and dramatic, classic columns.

This project was completed in less than 14 weeks to meet the client’s needs. This was accomplished through the hard work & around the clock efforts of our dedicated and highly skilled employees & subcontractors.

This kitchen remodel was constructed for a large family who wanted a welcoming, yet elegant kitchen with more space for their frequent family gatherings & special holiday occasions.  Our design plans created an inviting, elegant yet comfortable kitchen that allowed for a more open floor plan.
After: Updated Kitchen
In overcoming previous floor plan conflicts, the addition of a hidden metal channel beam in the floor system provided for a flush ceiling and expanded kitchen space. A&E's remodeling included  distinguished cabinetry embellishments and a sophisticated subway patterned tile backsplash.

Before Kitchen
A&E knows  the design is in the details. We created a beautiful niche behind the stove that complimented the layers and texture of the cabinetry while providing a balance and focus on the ornamental hood above the stove.

We also created space by installing a metal structural beam at the location where an existing stem wall was and a dropped beam at the kitchen/family room separation.
